Biography
Keravnos Morke was born from a fairly unremarkable family in Paragon City. His childhood is unknown outside of his school records, painting him as an ambitious, but lacking child. While in high school, Keravnos took interest in the occult, and joined the Midnight Squad in order to learn as much as possible from them, and quickly discovered a great affinity with weather magic.
After a few years under the apprenticeship of the Midnight Squad, Keravnos started to feel constrained by the morals of the Midnight Squad, and argued for more aggressive means of magical research. He was quickly rebutted, with many members of the Midnight Squad pointing at the Circle of Thorns as an example of what could happen when ambition overrides morals.
Keravnos then decided to start working in secret, and searched for a method to enhance his abilities, wanting to show the Midnight Squad they were mistaken. Needing other sources of knowledge, he made contact with various black markets and cults under the pseudonym “Thunder”.
Using this knowledge, he devised a ritual that would imbue him with the power of an hundred storms and then realized it in the middle of a stormy night. The man that left the ritual circle was considerably different than the one that entered it; his body constantly discharging then reabsorbing electricity, his bearing much more assured, and his goals much less benign. Keravnos Morke shed his original name and became Archlord Thunder, the Master of storms.
Gone was the will to prove the Midnight Squad wrong. With all this power under his skin, Archlord Thunder was certain of one thing : an archlord such as himself ought to have a territory to rule over. After a disastrous attempt at conquering Paragon City, swiftly thwarted by Stateman, Archlord Thunder fled for the Rogue Isles, where installed a base of operation and started the work to necessary for the establishment of the Thunder Kingdom.
A few years later, Archlord Thunder got a daughter, which he named Kisi, before he ordered a series of experiments on her with the goal to give her innate control over darkness. Those experiments succeeded, and her daughter is now one of his trusted lieutenants.
To this day, the goals of Archlord Thunder have yet to be realized.
