Milky Way Galaxy – 23rd Century

The Milky Way Galaxy is one of two trillion galaxies believed to exist. The number of stars it contains is variously estimated to be over three billion to over four hundred billion stars.

During the 23rd century, the Federation would explore and make contact with many species, such as the Gorn, the Talosian, the Horta or the Metron. This century is also well known for the voyages of the USS Enterprise under the command of James T. Kirk.
