Antinua is a Faerûnian drow that, after a arcane accident, found herself lost in another world. She was rescued and cared for by a colony of strangely-unafraid humans, and after discovering she could no longer use magic, she attempted to learn this world’s magic… or rather, what she initially thought to be magic.
Decades later, well integrated to this new world, and with a deep understanding of Federation technology, Antinua joined Starfleet as an engineer, and quickly rose through the ranks to become ship captain, then admiral.
